Additional Questions

This seminar helped me develop -
* the ability to participate in discussions.
* confidence in talking to faculty.
* awareness of current research on topics in the field.

In the time balance between the "News and Views" and our Theme Discussions for the day, do you think we have a fair balance between the two? How well do we serve both purposes?

In the balance of time between Student-led discussion, and Professor-led discussion/lectures, how much value do you put on the student-led discussion format?

We have a tension in the class between a survey of many topics, vs going into greater detail on a smaller number. Do you think the current style, with the broad survey, and your choice of a final paper topic for depth, is the best approach? How well did this structure work for you?
